Meeting Point: Conrad Seoul – SIWA’s new Coffee Morning ‘Home’

Our March Coffee Morning is SIWA’s Annual General Meeting where we take the time to review the past year and look forward to the incoming one: we thank our volunteers; learn about SIWA’s finances and contributions to supported charities;enjoy a fun activity while having a delicious coffee morning. We will also conduct some very important business: the election of our 2014-15 Executive Officers and introduction of the new SIWA Board members.

Members have free entrance this month which is also a way for us to thank you for your participation and contribution throughout the year! Please make every effort to be there by 9:30 am as the agenda is jam packed. RSVP is essential to this event so that the correct amount of food can be ordered!

Non-member fee is KRW 25,000. If you are not a SIWA member but would like to become a member, you have the option to join for the period through to April 30th

In addition to the Annual General Meeting, we will have a short presentation from First Steps, one of the unique organizations that is fighting malnutrition in North Korea. After the business part of the meeting, get moving with a taste of Zumba to get us into the mood for dancing at our April Gala Party.

Coffee Mornings are one of the core activities of SIWA, an occasion when all members come to enjoy topical lectures, panel discussions and special events over a cup of coffee or tea and snacks. It is a chance to reconnect with other members, make new friends and share information. The event is organized by the Hospitality Chair to provide information about Korea, current affairs, culture, fun and issues of interest to all. Getting there by Subway:

Yeouido Station, subway lines #5 or #9, Exit 3

Follow the underground passage, along the moving walkway, until you reach the IFC Entrance (L2). Walk to the escalators (located in front of the “8ight Seconds” store) and go up to L1. The entrance to Conrad Seoul is located between the “Stradivarius” and “Bershka” stores.
