March trip to Jeju - day 1.

I went to Jeju island from March 11-13. 2014.

March is one of best season to visit Jeju and I was so happy to have this opportunity because of Kori

who hired me as personal tour guide.

Here's what we did for those who are thinking about to go Jeju Island.

 

We took a 11am plane down to Jeju and when we got to the airport we pickup the rentcar.

I ordered Gimbab from seoul cause this Gimbab place is really popular and sometimes you need to wait an hour to buy gimbab here even for takeout.

So after pickup the rentcar I drove a car to Gimbab place to pickup and after picking up the Gimbab I drove to

Sungsan port right away.

 

Actually I planed to go Udo island 12th. but when I saw the weather forcast, I need to change plan and go there

1st day cause that was only day that we have a beautiful sunshine and you'd better go Udo when weather is good.

We needed to catch a 2pm ferry and we made it!!!  Thanks to Tmap.

This time we took our car to go Udo. cause we didn't have enough time and energy to ride a bike.^^

 

 

in the 10 mins short ferry, You can experience the feeding the seagul.

You can simply buy the shrimp snack at ferry which is 1500won and enjoy it with seagul.

They take a snack right from your finger so watch out.   if you are scared, just throw bunch of it in the air and

you will see how they catch it in the air.. that's cool to watch as well~~.

 

 

My best favorite beach... Coral beach...  Yes. the water is that clear and beautiful.....

I just love to sit down at beach and watch the ocean and do nothing....  Enjoy sunshine...

I felt so unreal... it's that beautiful but when weather is not nice... sorry you can't really feel that....

It's quite different.

 

Udo is quite small island but to enjoy Udo you need more than 5 hours. but we only had 3 hours cause last

ferry out to Jeju was 5pm.  So we couldn't enjoy boat riding at Gummulrae beach but if you have time I highly

recommand. it's 10,000won per person and worthy every penny... you take a boat from above beach and they gave you ride around the Udo...  they colse at 4pm so if you want to take one you have to go before.

Gummulrae beach is near where Udo light house is and it's black sand beach. 

 

If you missed the boat ride still you can enjoy cave walking...

it's bit scary and dangerous and hard to find the way so you'd better follow other Koreans if you see around..

Cause there's no sign for this route!!!

When we came out of Udo, we went to Jeju's famouse black pork restaurant to have dinner.
